Now in its fifth year, Towcester Food Festival is a celebration of artisan food and drink, taking place at Towcester Racecourse on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th June 2018.

There’ll be up to 100 stalls, bursting with artisan produce, chef demonstrations, wine and gin tastings, cocktail masterclasses, kids cookery classes, live music plus a great selection from the street food market and a free family circus.

There is also a Foodies Lounge, where visitors can hear talks from local producers, including a steak school run by award-winning butcher David Baker of Onley Grounds Farm.

Adding a touch of spice to the event this year, will be Korean cookery writer Da-Hae West who will be demonstrating how to make Korean fried chicken and how to cook with kimchi, a fermented vegetable dish which is a staple in her home country.

Performing on both days at lunchtime, the Great Central Big Band providing a real feel of nostalgia with the best-loved hits from the heyday of swing and jazz.

All in all, a great family day out.

Adult tickets for the festival are £6 in advance, £8 on the day. Family tickets are £16 in advance, on sale now at www.towcesterfoodfestival.co.uk
