Sheaf Street Health Store is the hub for two key health events this autumn.

As co-sponsors of the Daventry Sprint Triathlon on September 17th, Sheaf Street Health Store will be welcoming 300+ new and professional triathletes to the town.

So, whether you’re a sports fanatic, or a novice looking to support a worthy cause, you are urged to sign up to Daventry’s hottest sporting event this year. The event, now in its 6th year, is organised by Rugby Triathlon Club and money raised will support two local charities – the Air Ambulance and Genetic Disorders UK.

Owner of Sheaf Street Health Store, Shaun Higgs, now an accomplished IronMan athlete, started his triathlon journey here in Daventry back in 2013 on his 47th birthday.

Shaun said: “The Daventry Sprint Triathlon was a game changer for me, it broadened my horizons and goals forever. I’ve lost four stone and gained tremendous fitness. I’ve also met some extraordinary, supportive and inspirational people. If you’ve got a bicycle, why not enter yourself, and see where it can take you.”

The Daventry Sprint Triathlon starts with a 400m indoor swim at Daventry Leisure Centre, followed by a 20km cycle through the Northamptonshire countryside and finishes with a 5km run around Daventry Country Park. Individuals and relay teams welcomed. Entry price £42 includes a t-shirt and medal and there are prizes awarded in each age category. With only 350 places available, there is no time for delay.
